Brewster County Commissioners will meet in special session tomorrow in Study Butte, one of its
bi-monthly meetings in the remote communities in the county.

The proposed health clinic in Study Butte is perhaps the main item on the agenda. They will
discuss and take action on two funding items.
One is up to 150 thousand dollars for skid-mounted portable building to be used as the main
clinic facilities.
The other is up to 50 thousand for the installation of septic, water, telephone, internet and electric
service to the new clinic.
Once completed in about a year and a half, it would offer in-person health care five days per
week.
And commissioners will consider a letter of engagement from Singleton, Clark & Company in
the amount of 90 thousand dollars for the 2023 fiscal year outside audit.
Two other small funding issues are on the agenda along with the regular monthly reports from
county departments including the treasurer and comptroller.
Commissioners will meet at 9:30 tomorrow at the J.W. “Red” Pattillo South Brewster County
Community Center at 201 Rex Ivey Road.
