Odessa Regional Drop-Off Center.
Karen McGuire, the facilitator at Hillside Baptist Church, said the 205 boxes collected in the
three-county region was the most collected in several years.
She said the boxes provide opportunities to share hope, the Gospel and gifts that bring joy to
children worldwide.
The initiative focuses on helping children in war-torn areas and those affected by natural
disasters and poverty.
The boxes from the Big Bend joined a contribution from a Reeves County church and the
Permian Basin region collected a total of nearly 18 thousand boxes.
